Heidi and I met up in the Beijing airport then flew to New Delhi. TBT to clean clothes and Starbucks
We got in way late so we decided earlier that we were just going to sleep in the airport. Now I have slept in a handful of airports and everytime is as stressful as the last. The lights are always on. People are forever walking around you. In the middle of the night don't forget about the floor cleaning machine. You are going to wakeup about 5 different times and each time just prepare for that old unibrow man hovering over you. Make sure you clip your backpack to one of the bench legs, not like its REALLY going to help but it makes it look like you know what you are doing. I mean lets be honest, if someone wants your stuff they will just knife into it, so just pray that they actually believe in karma. Then when you wakeup, usually you instantly sit up slightly freaking out because how often do you wakeup on a bench in a crowded airport? Then every stares. I think you get it, airport sleeping is up there with having your braces tightened.
Why India you ask? Well first we were going to a real Indian wedding of a good family friend. We like to think of them as our adopted family in Delhi. It was going to be the kind of wedding that lasts 5 days, it's color over load, henna all over the hands kinda deal. So we booked flights, got the visa, went for it. A WEEK before, the wedding was canceled. So we planned a whole new trip in a matter of days which included those international calls with the airlines TRYING to understand what should have been English on the other end.
